Honey Baked Ham by Civilized Caveman Cooking
This ham is made with spiced apples and peaches AND it’s completely SCD legal! I can hardly believe it. Merry Christmas to you!
Roasted Beets and Carrots by Food.com
The original recipe calls for balsamic vinegar and sugar. These are not SCD legal and honestly, you don’t need it. I promise you-you won’t miss it. Roasting vegetables bring out their natural sweetness. Adding anything to it will simply take away from their natural yumminess. I love how the beets add so much color. Yum!
Berry and Mint Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing by Emma Eats and Explores
You can never go wrong with berries. I think all the colorful reds and purples are very Christmas-y. A little honey, a touch of lime and fresh mint make this a guest-worthy side dish.
Holiday Eggnog by Flash Fiction Kitchen
Yes, you can have eggnog this Christmas! This creamy eggnog is made with Coconut milk blended with pumpkin or butternut and yummy spices. The recipe calls for maple syrup–just swap in honey and you are good to go for this holiday favorite.
Grain Free Bread by Against All Grain
If you haven’t tried bread on the SCD, then Danielle’s recipe is going to be a real treat. With coconut flour and cashews, this bread is not only delicious, it’s also filling. Enjoy!
For dessert, check out my post HERE on SCD friendly Christmas cookies.
Isn’t this a delicious meal? I can’t wait to try it. What are you making for Christmas?
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
